About Marilyn Wells

Snohomish County real estate agent Marilyn Wells is known for her experience, persistence, and ability to make people feel at ease during what can sometimes be a stressful time. This, combined with her sense of humor and her ability to solve problems, has earned her a long list of clients who come back to her again and again, and who refer others to her. Past clients know that no one else can or will do a better job for them.

One of her many talents is helping people look past the issues and focus on the goal. She never takes herself too seriously but takes the job very seriously. She believes that there’s always a solution if you work to find it – and she does.

 

Unlike many who come to real estate after leaving another career, Marilyn chose real estate as her first career. She didn’t enjoy college or the idea of being at a desk for the rest of her working life. However, she did want a career and did like the idea of helping people purchase something that would enrich their lives. She chose real estate and jumped in to learn all she could about doing it well. She continues to take classes and expand her knowledge to this day.

 

Marilyn has now been serving buyers and sellers in Snohomish County and Island County since 1974. During that time, she has “done it all” in real estate. In addition to helping equally sellers and buyers in all price ranges, she has handled short sales, sold foreclosures for banks, and worked with investors buying and selling rehab houses. She owns a brokerage, has taught as a state-certified real estate instructor, and has won many national awards for her outstanding production and contribution to improving the financial health of many through real estate investments.

 

Raised in a small town in Eastern Oregon, Marilyn has retained her love of the countryside. While she enjoys helping all clients, she especially loves getting out of the city to list and sell country properties.

This love of nature carries to her own property, where she has been developing a quarter-acre pond for fish and other wildlife. She’s installed aerators and hiding places to keep the fish safe and healthy, and she enjoys watching the variety of birds who frequent the pond. An animal lover, she shares her home with a Goldendoodle and a Boxer puppy. Her daughter’s Rottweiler thinks he belongs to her as well.
